The admittance to the bar and professional title „Rechtsanwältin“ was awarded in Germany. It is awarded on the basis of Federal German legal provisions by the respective competent (Land) Ministry of Justice after passing the 2nd state examination in law and a special admission procedure by the President of the Higher Regional Court responsible for its seat (see below under Chambers of Lawyers / Supervisory Authorities).
